UPDATED USER DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

Refresher:

Meta requires us to provide this. At the minimum, we need a page on the Rally website that gives written instructions on how user’s can delete their Facebook-specific user data. For Facebook / Instagram, for a user to delete their platform-specific user data, all they need to do is remove the connection to that platform. Ex: If a user wants to remove their Facebook data from our app, they just need to disconnect Facebook from the Rally App.  We will have to revisit this before we launch the app just in case any of the UI changes between now and then.

Instructions:

At Rally, we believe your personal data is just that: yours. If, at any point, you want to delete your personal user data, you can follow the instructions below.

Delete third-party user data:

If you want to delete data that was brought in when you integrated an external social platform (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), then all you need to do is remove that platform’s connection from the Rally mobile app. To do that, you’ll want to do the following:

1. Navigate to your Rally user profile

2. Tap the “edit” button in the top left corner

3. At the bottom of the “Edit Profile” screen, you’ll see a list of social platforms. Find the platform you wish to remove and tap “connected”.

4. A modal will ask if you’re sure you want to remove the connection from Rally. Tap “Yes, I’m sure.”

That’s it! You’ve removed that platform and its relevant user data from the Rally app. Congratulations!

Delete Rally user data:

If you want to delete your data that was gathered when you signed up for Rally, you’ll have to delete your entire Rally user account. *Warning: This is permanent.*

1 . Navigation to the Rally user profile

2 . Tap the “Settings” gear in the top right corner

3 . Tap the “Delete Account” button.

4 . A modal will ask if you’re sure you want to remove the connection from Rally. Tap “Yes, I’m sure.”

That’s it! You’ve successfully deleted your Rally account and all user-data associated with it.
